The Morongo Basin Search & Rescue Team, a nonprofit organization, is preparing for its 21st Annual Desert Off Road Run on October 6th, 7th, and 8th. It will be held at Soggy Dry Lake located in the Johnson Valley OHV area. Last years Desert Run included over 400 entrants, making total participation over 1500 people. Last years prizes were valued over $10,000 and this years is going to be bigger.

This is a 3 day family event that includes a 20 mile off road desert run, blindfold obstacle course, motorcycle obstacle course, articulation beam, balance beam, paint ball gallery, prize drawings, extra drawing tickets sold, kids drawings, 50-50 drawing Saturday night, vendor displays, hot food all 3 days, Sunday morning run, and live entertainment Friday and Saturday nights. All 4X4, motorcycles, quads, buggies and all other types of off road vehicles are welcome.
