Mississippi-based Pug Power released in early January their latest line of cargo all-terrain vehicles. (CATV's) Targeted to the avid outdoor enthusiast, the new Wilderness lineup comes in both two and four-wheel drive versions. The multi-passenger vehicles can fit in the back of a pickup truck to make transporting the Wilderness a breeze. The higher horsepower and sealed drive system uniquely answer the needs of many outdoor enthusiasts.

"Through market research and our own experience as outdoorsmen, we know many of our targeted customers are looking for a viable alternative to four-wheelers," said Tome Lutes, Pug Power CEO.  "The unique mix of size, speed and enhanced performance in tough outdoor environments answers that call," said Lutes.

"We've spent a great deal of time listening to our target consumer to insure it meets their needs," said Bill Chestnut, director of CATV product management. Key product features include on-demand 4-wheel drive with a limited-slip front differential that is further enhanced by a competently sealed drive system that eliminates any belt slippage in wet or muddy conditions. It's 70-inch wheelbase, 54-inch width, McPhearson strut type suspension and rack and pinion steering allows for maneuvering in tight backwoods situations and enables the vehicle to be transported in a pickup bed.  Aggressive all-terrain tires as standard, 570cc of power, high-clearance and spray-in bed liner round out this unique CATV.  "The overwhelming response from the marketplace tells us we have hit the customer requirement bulls-eye with this new product," said Chestnut.
