Welcome to this year's Cochranton Poker Run. This event is once again bigger and better as it arrives into Pennsylvania's most popular ATV riding town. The event is owned and maintained by the Allegheny Highland Pulling Association.

New Location - There is a new location this year. The ATV event will be held on the west side of town instead of the east side of town...with an all-new camping area and starting location. This new site is a 100+ acre farm located along Ridgeway Hill Rd. just north of RT 322. New signs will be posted. (The bike event will be at the old location) Camping, Parking, Expo, Exhibits and Starting Area will all be at the new location for the entire event.

This year, there will be 3 trails, which will all have the same level of difficulty. This will help out with bottlenecks but don't expect any clean sailing with 10,000 expected riders! The staff are all volunteers from the local town and the AHPA...no one has a paid position.... they are all donating their time and efforts for you. All proceeds will go towards local charities.

Big rigs, factory displays and related industry roll into the "Expo area" starting on Thursday, April 5th. The entire event will be moved this year to a new and larger location just on the other side of town. A local farmer has donated his pastures to accommodate the large crowds and displays. This new site will hold the starting areas, camping, parking, and the ATV Expo.

Registration - Pre-registration dates will be held at the barn at Carroll’s Nursery (last years location).

  • March 24, 1-6pm –at- Carroll’s Nursery
  • March 25, 1-5pm at- Carroll’s Nursery
  • March 30, 1-8pm at- Carroll’s Nursery
  • March 31, 6am - Noon at- Carroll’s Nursery

  • April 5, 1-9pm (new site)
  • April 6, 9am - 9pm (new site)
  • April 7, 6am - Noon (new site)

There is a large “terra-map” Please use it to guide yourself to the event and help take some stress off the volunteer workers that will be guiding everybody to the event.

The cost is $30.00 per ATV (bikes $20.00). Helmet is required at registration. Due to the level of difficulty, riders are "required" to be at least 18 years of age for this year. NO double riders.

ATV Auction New- There will be a professional auction of used ATV's on Friday evening and Saturday afternoon. If you have an ATV to enter, serious enquiries can be made to C. Sherman Allen Auctioneers and Assoc, (814)-382-2922.

Misc - There will be (3) trails of approximately 35-40 miles each. Chicken routes will be marked for difficult areas. Courtesy vehicles will be available at no charge for wounded machines. Fuel stops will have (1) gallon containers of (93) octane for sale...you may carry your own fuel in "approved" fuel containers. NO alcoholic beverages are permitted on the trail systems. Shirts, hats, etc. will be for sale on site.

A real, true-blue, genuine wedding ceremony, complete with attendants and wedding gown, will be held Sat. morning, April 7, 7:00 AM at the starting point prior to the ride start. Congratulations to Adrienne Hodge, and William DeLorn of Geneseo, NY.
