BubbaJunk National Mud Rumble - Southwest Regional Qualifier

(Queen Creek, AZ)  Chris Cole, riding a Polaris Sportsman 500, captured the overall competition at the BubbaJunk.com National Mud Rumble - Southwest Regional Qualifier. Cole’s three run total of 54.50 seconds was one second better than 2nd place finisher Noel Copeland and his Polaris Magnum 500. The victory earned Cole the $1,000 first place prize and a trip to the BubbaJunk National Mud Rumble Championship September 30 in Texarkana, Texas. Each of the four finalists ran through Pits 1 and 2 and was given a choice of pits to run for round three. Cole and third place finisher Arthur Sims, also riding a Polaris Sportsman 500, chose Pit 1 for their final run, while Copeland and fourth place finisher Roger Capps chose Pit 2. Copeland earned $500 for his second place finish, while Sims earned $250 for finishing third. Copeland and Sims also receive invitations to the September 30 Championship. Roger Capps fourth place finish earned him $100 and alternate status for the BubbaJunk National Mud Rumble Championship.
