IMPORTANT SAFETY BULLETIN
FIRE HAZARD

SUBJECT:
There have been recent, isolated reports of ATVs that have experienced fires on units with WARN 200lb. winch kits that include a White-Rodgers manufactured solenoid. These Winch kits were sold between approximately November 1, 2000 to Present.
These fires occurred when the vehicles were parked and the winches were not being used. All such winches must be immediately disconnected until replacement components can be installed. Once the winches are disconnected, the vehicles can be operated.

DISCONNECT PROCEDURE:
Disconnect the winch wires from the battery terminals, as well as the wires attached to the winch solenoid. All disconnected wires should be individually wrapped with electrical tape to avoid contact with other wires or components.

We apologize for the inconvenience to you. Warn is working diligently on a permanent solution.
