America Attacked - ATVers Attack Back

Everyone has seen the horror that took place Tues. Sept 11.  Most of us live too far away to go help with the rescue effort, so what can we do?  That was the question that faced the ATV community in Jefferson and Lewis Counties in Northern NY.  Through a cooperative effort between the newly opened Adirondack International Speedway, 10 ATV Clubs, and the North Country ATV Drag Circuit have decided to put on an ATV Fundraiser to be hosted at the Speedway on Oct 12, 13, 14.

The schedule for the weekend is going to be the Speedway opens on Friday the 12th for the overnight campers and early Registration.  On Sat. the 13th ATV Drags and Mudbogs will be held.  Registration will be held at 7-10am with the events starting between 11 and noon.  The drags will have classes for all ATVs and Dirt Bikes from kids to utility to the Screamin Banshee.  The classes for the Mudbog will be broken down into 2 & 4 wheel drive.

On Sunday the 14th, we will have the ATV Pulls with another event to follow if time permits. Also on hand will be vendors from all the major ATV and parts manufacturers.

We are shooting to have the largest turn out of any ATV Event ever held in NY, and to raise major dollars for the relief effort in New York City.  This would be a great public relations event to show that ATVers are not the rebels who destroy the land as we are perceived by many.

We urge all ATVers from the country that can make it to please do so!  We would also like to host this event yearly in the spring and incorporate a Poker Run into this with maybe a MX race to follow.
