HomeArticles › Stop the Eco-Tally-Ban Today From Poisoning The Public With False Lies

The Eco-Tally-ban (http://www.free-press.biz/eco-tally-ban.htm) is gathering in West Yellowstone on President's day weekend for what appears to be an annual press junket where they show up to tell their lies to an invited press corp. The Eco-tally-ban is hell bent on ruining West Yellowstone's $85 million snowmobile industry, it would put most of the town out of business as it is touted as the snowmobile capitol of the world.

President's day weekend is the only time that you can almost count on a smoggy West Yellowstone entrance station at 9 am as that is the busiest hour of the year. The Eco-tally-ban has been using that weekend for their junk science and propaganda since 1995 when I saw 3 rangers holding a smog meter at old faithful at the time the mid-day crowd was leaving Old Faithful.

These Presidents day weekend propaganda outings have all of the intellectual integrity of a Los Angeles smog study when Malibu is on fire. The Eco-tally-ban presents these conditions as daily fact and the press corp. spoon-feeds this crap to a gullible American public, bogus gas masks and all.

The Winter Wildlands Alliance (http://www.winterwildlands.org) group is planning a XC Country ski tour in protest of President Bush's overturning Clinton's Yellowstone snowmobile ban. The compromise that has been reached no one is happy with because it is a compromise, the hallmark of a good one. The Greater Yellowstone Coalition (http://www.greateryellowstone.org) is promoting this on their massive e-mail list and widely read website and may get massive support by their eco-idiots.

Yellowstone belongs to the people of the United States and should be visited by them and today snowmobile is the most efficient what to do so. Roughly 20,000 annual snow-coach, XC ski visitors want to dictate to the annual 230,000 snowmobile visitors that they can't visit Old Faithful. They are using junk science and lies to push this agenda and they must be stopped.

We need to get all snowmobile, ATV, NRA, SUV, jeep, hunting outfitter, 4 H, farming, heli-ski, ranching, rafting, fishing, and logging etc. groups to peacefully join their XC ski, snowshoe outing and present the real message with placards, T-shirt, bumper stickers, megaphones etc. There are a lot more of us than there are of them and we better show America in a positive way.

For those that don't want to put on XC skies and snowshoes it will probably be walking distance to the press conference that I anticipate to be at the entrance station of the park on a packed snow road. I assume that the press corp. will stay in West Yellowstone prior to and possibly after so a message that you would like to parade around town may be heard.

All multi-users of our forests need to ban together in solidarity with Yellowstone snowmobile users because these same people of the Eco-tally-ban groups are after us all.

For Lodging info see http://www.westyellowstonenet.com/ or call if they sell out this site has links to surrounding communities at the top of their site.
