The
Plumas NF is looking for individuals to participate
in two important working groups related to their
OHV Route Designation process. These two groups
will be working with the Forest Service, other user
groups, private land owners, sportsmen, and others
to help the Plumas NF with the issues regarding
OHV use on the Forest.According to the Forest
Service, these working groups will have a critical
bearing on the final travel plan. By getting involved
in one of these groups you could play a vital role
in keeping trails open for future use. It is also
important to get the word out to your friends, family,
clubs, organizations, etc. about the OHV Route Designation
Project. Any route that is not established in the
final designation process will be closed.
BlueRibbon Coalition highly recommends OHV enthusiasts
consider volunteering to serve on one or both of
the working groups. At the very least, please consider
adding your name to the mailing list for this project.
