Washington State OHV Riders Call Out for Entire OHV Community

HELP!
STATE of WASHINGTON OHV riders needs your help
from all across the Nation from fellow riders,
ASAP. I am copying the email that was sent to
riders from a WA State Group called "CLOUT", to
alert us of issues effecting our rights as
OHVer's.
We are asking fellow riders from
across the nation to complete a Biased Survey
sponsored by ANTI-MOTORIZED enthusiasts and
backed by the SIERRA CLUB.
The survey doesn't limit the response to just
Washington State Residence, BUT effects
Washington State Residents. They have made the
survey so that ANYONE can complete it, ANYWHERE
in the NATION.
It could happen in your state next.

Here is the Story behind the "B.S." (copied
directly from CLOUT):
A loud, out spoken, politically connected
Anti-OHV bigot, backed by
your
enemies in the WTA and Sierra Club, got the
Legislature to pass a bill
in
2006 directing the Office of the Interagency
Committee (Yes, the same
people
who helped the WTA steal most of your NOVA funds
for the hikers!!!) to
recommend ways to address "excessive noise from
ORVs." Specifically,
OIAC
was to review existing laws and provide
recommendations on equipment
for
enforcement, model ordinances, education, and a
grant program.
The IAC has now hand picked a biased
committee (They would not let the
dirt
rider who knows the whole story, John Eaton, on
the committee!) to
"assist"
them and provide a rubber stamp for proposed
discriminatory legislation
against OHVs. They have also hired a consulting
firm to do the study
which
has a long history of doing studies to support
"greenie" anti-access
positions.
The link in this alert takes you directly to
the survey being used by
this
consulting firm to drum up huge numbers of
responses from the anti-OHV
and
anti-Access people throughout the nation. There
is nothing on this
survey that requires you to identify yourself as
a WA State resident!
The Anti-Access crowd is broadcasting this
survey far and wide and they
have
a huge network supported by millions of dollars.
We are volunteers
and
need to spread this by word of mouth to all of
our motorized
recreational
community. PLEASE HELP get the word out and get
your motorized
friends to
fill out this survey.
Remember what the IAC did to motorized users
with their "Fuel Use
Study"?
That was how they justified taking most of your
Nonhighway and Offroad
Vehicles Activity (NOVA) money for the hikers!
Now the same people who were behind that
theft want to steal your legal
right to operate your OHV on your own private
property anywhere in WA
State!
DO the survey RIGHT NOW and don't give them
any support for more
restrictions on OHVs!

ON THE SURVEY,
- Tell them to leave the sound levels where they
are. Be careful how
you
answer the questions, i.e. do not give them any
reason to create
another Big
Brother bureaucracy to prey on you and your
kids!
- Tell the IAC to quit wasting your NOVA
funds "studying" non-issues
like
this and to do something positive for OHV
recreation for a change!
Then let all of your motorized 4WD, ATV,
Snowmobile, and Off Highway
Motorcycle (OHM) friends know about this survey.
You can bet most of
the
anti-OHV/anti-access people in the U.S.A. are
going to hear about it
from
the WTA and Sierra Club!
