Arctic Cat has a well-known reputation for durability and versatility. In addition to offering top of the line ATVs, the company prides itself on its Speedrack system. This system allows users to attach a wide variety of accessories to the racks of their ATVs. The attachable accessories include chainsaw holders, tree stand holders, cargo boxes, and mounted sprayer systems just to name a few. In fact, the 2007 Arctic Cat accessory catalog contains approximately 65 pages of Speedrack accessories, ATV extras, bumpers, safety equipment, and apparel.

In addition to their already established reputation for versatility, Arctic Cat has introduced the Arctic Cat TRV or Two Rider Vehicle. This ATV is extremely unique and offers the rider the ability to safely take a passenger along for the ride. The TRV can function as a 2-up rider vehicle, or the second seat can easily be removed and a large rear Speedrack system can be added or a truck style cargo box, similar to the box found on Arctic Cats TBX model.

The TRV features an elevated 2nd rider seat, which allows the passenger a clear view of the terrain ahead. Sure-grip handrails provide the passenger added security and ride comfort. Also, elevated rear footboards with metal backing plates provide sure footing for both riders.

As with most Arctic Cat utility models, the TRV features a gas tank, which has been moved toward the center of the bike, offering a more balanced ride and freeing up a small frontal storage space for carry-on items. With a maximum fuel capacity of 5.5 gallons, the tank is larger than those found on competing models, allowing for greater distances during all day rides.

Additionally, each TRV comes from the factory with a high-density polyethylene skid plate, which provides valuable undercarriage protection that won’t rust or rip. Color Coordinated CVT joint stick stoppers provide additional protection and look great on the bike.

The “start in gear” feature allows the TRV to be started without being in neutral in those "sticky" situations. Also, an electronic “on the fly” 4x4 switch makes it easy to switch from 2 wheel drive to 4 wheel drive with the push of a button and a full lock differential lever transfers engine torque to both font wheels for added traction.

Another great feature is the protective engine cover, which extends along the sides of the ATV. This not only adds additional protection, it’s also designed to keep engine noise down. The zero maintenance suspension bushings and sealed driveshafts add to the durability of the bike.

The TRV features Arctic Cat’s fully independent suspension system providing enhanced traction and control by allowing full tire contact in all types of terrain. Both font and back shocks are fully adjustable with a five-position pre-load, and are designed so the rider can fine-tune the ride depending on terrain and riding style. With 10 inches of ground clearance, the TRV avoids many dangerous obstacles that hinder other ATVs.

Additionally, the TRV, as with many Arctic Cat models, has a standard rear 2-inch receiver hitch allows you to use the same ball and hitch on your ATV as you do on your tow vehicle. The TRV has a 1,050 pound towing capacity, which is one of the largest towing capacities in the ATV market.

New for 2007, the TRV is being offered in a Limited Edition, which contains the new H1 650 engine, has been upgraded with aluminum wheels, a 2,500 pound Warn winch, a windshield, and it comes exclusively in black.

In continuing with Arctic Cat’s reputation, the TRV is an extremely well made, durable, and extremely versatile ATV. With the many Speedrack accessories, it is the perfect ATV for hunting, working, or taking a passenger along for a ride. The ATV is available as either a 400 or 650, each with identical frame dimensions. Color choices include Arctic Cat green, hunter green, red, or the limited edition black.

Currently Arctic Cat is offering their “Play Dirty” sales event. Right now, your TRV will receive a 3 year warranty and the option of 8.9% financing for 60 months for qualified applicants.
