4x4TV WINS, A-TV CLOSE SECOND PLACE AT THE OUTDOOR CHANNEL
GOLDEN MOOSE AWARDS
Pioneertown, CA -- Doug Meyer, Producr of DEMAProductions A-TV
(All Terrain Vehicle Television) and 4x4TV (4 Wheel Drive
Television), accepted The Golden Moose Award for 4x4TV from
the Outdoor Channel for winning first place in the Fan
Favorite/Special Interest category. A-TV was announced as a
very, very close second place.
The
award was presented at a gala reception attended by
approximately 1,250 people in conjunction with the shooting
sports industry's largest trade show, known as the SHOT Show
in Las Vegas, NV on February 4, 2002.
Outdoor Channel Vice President Wade Sherman said, "Doug and
our other producers have worked very hard to provide our
audience with the best looking, most informative outdoor
programming possible. Two years ago, we wanted to come up with
a way to recognize them for outstanding achievement in a
particular area. In a fairly short time, the Golden Moose
Award program has raised the bar among all producers. They are
all striving to do the best they possible can, and as a
result, our viewers are the true winners."
The
Fan Favorite category is a particularly rewarding win as the
viewers' vote for the shows that they feel best satisfies what
they want to see.
A-TV
and 4x4TV Producer Doug Meyers said, "Winning the Fan Favorite
for special interest shows and placing second with our sister
show A-TV is the perfect validation that we are filling a very
important niche in the marketplace."\
Based
in Pioneertown, CA, A-TV is a television show designed to
provide a dedicated ATV program to the rapidly growing number
of recreation/utility/sportsman riders all across America.
A-TV currently airs three (3) times weekly on The Outdoor
Channel. For 2002 the schedule is Wednesdays at 9:00 pm EST,
Mondays at 4:00 pm EST, and Thursday at 9:30 am EST.
