Award-Winning ATV,
Dirt Bike and SXS Whip Mounts Now on Shelves in
Five States

Wash-15 Whip Mounts |
TRABUCO CANYON, Calif., May 15, 2012 –
Celebrating its two-year anniversary, Wash-15
Offroad is pleased to announce its partnership
with Chaparral Motorsports as its 30th retailer.
The Wash-15 Whip Mount, the company’s signature
product that has redesigned the traditional
method of mounting and dismounting safety flags,
is now available to riders in Chaparral’s San
Bernardino superstore,
online and through its catalog.
“The whip mount has been reinvented, and riders
and dealers across the country are taking
notice,” said Scott Shaffstall, co-founder and
President of Wash-15 Offroad. “From selling out
at the 2011 Sand Sports Super Show to being
awarded five out of five stars by ATV Rider
Magazine, the feedback shows that our mounts are
what riders have been waiting for. Bringing a
dealership as prestigious as Chaparral
Motorsports into our great group of retailers is
the perfect way to celebrate our second
anniversary.”
Wash-15 Whip Mounts are
now available in five states including
California, Nevada, Arizona, Oregon and Idaho,
as well as online at
www.chaparral-racing.com. The product has
received acclaim from numerous media outlets,
including being hailed as “One of the best
products I’ve seen in a long time” by ATV Rider
Magazine Editor-in-Chief Eli Madero, being
featured in CycleNews’ Product Showcase.
Wash-15 Offroad
completely sold out of its Whip Mounts at the
2011 Sand Sports Super Show. Customers flooded
the Wash-15 display at the world’s largest event
for sand enthusiasts to purchase mounts for
their ATVs, dirt bikes, side by sides and 4x4s.
“The benefits Wash-15 brings to riders are
obvious for anyone who has ever ridden with a
flag,” said Steve Shaffstall, co-founder and
Vice President of Wash-15 Offroad. “Using
patent-pending clamping technology, our Whip
Mounts quickly and easily mount any 1/4- or
5/16-inch whip, even if severely broken after a
crash. Riders no longer need to carry tools or
cut off broken edges to remount their flag,
which takes time away from riding and often
results in fiberglass shards becoming imbedded
in hands or gloves. It’s the first and only true
quick-release mounting system.”
In only
seconds, riders can loosen the wing screw by
hand, remove the mounting plate and insert the
whip, then replace the mounting plate and
tighten. A recessed interior easily accommodates
frayed ends. With Wash-15’s dual-mounting
option, riders can either carry an extra whip in
case a fellow rider breaks or loses their own,
or safely mount discarded whips they find in
their riding areas, allowing them to recycle and
save money while keeping their trails clean of
debris.
With its compact design, the
Wash-15 Whip Mount can be used on any vehicle
with a standard 1/2 inch bolt hole. Proudly
machined in the U.S.A. out of 6061 T6
aircraft-grade billet aluminum, it is currently
available in anodized red, blue, black and
silver. MSRP is $29.99.
