FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

SUZUKI ANNOUNCES THE QUADMASTER 50 AND FUTURE ATV PLANS

Suzuki Quadmaster 50The Suzuki Quad Master 50 (LT-A50) was recently unveiled at Suzuki's annual Dealer Meeting in Las Vegas. The QuadMaster 50 is a youth model designed for adult-supervised riders age six and older, and will be an early-release 2002 model available in February 2001. The suggested retail price will be announced at a later date.

Suzuki Quadmaster 50The LT-A50 features many updates as compared to the Suzuki model LT50 which was last sold in the U.S. during the 1987 model year. New features include twin-shock front suspension and single-shock rear suspension, front and rear drum brakes, keyed ignition switch with a recoil starter, larger seven inch wheels and new bodywork with built-in floorboards.

Also announced at the dealer meeting was the LT-A400, a future 2002 utility model (2WD & 4WD versions), that will be the first of several new models, including a sport model, to be released by Suzuki over the next two model years. "We have recommitted ourselves to the ATV market in the US," states Rod Lopusnak, newly appointed ATV Marketing Manager for American Suzuki. "We've fallen a little behind in recent years, but with a renewed commitment from Suzuki Motor Corporation in Japan to develop new product, we expect to substantially increase our market share in the US over the next few years."
