ATV Source attended the 33rd Annual Dealernew's "Powersports Dealer Expo" held in Indianapolis this past February. The Dealer Expo is a showcase for all things Motorcycle and ATV related.  The event encompassed the entire Indiana Convention Center and the floor of the RCA Dome. With the trade show being in my backyard, I live in Indy, the Source hosted several key industry movers and shakers during the three day event.  We were privileged with a first hand look at all of the newest ATV products coming to the market. Throughout the entire show, we stalked the event with a digital video camera poised to capture all of the newest products.  The Source is committed to providing the ATV Community with all of the latest product news and will be providing reports on these products in the next couple of days.

Below is just one of the many new showcased products:

High Lifter's Detroit Locker

Courtesy of High Lifter www.highlifter.comHigh Lifter Products introduced a traction-aiding product to the industry.  The High Lifter Detroit Gearless Locker.

High Lifter together with Trac Tech, Inc., maker of the Detroit Locker, introduced a fully automatic locking differential.  The Gearless Locker is based on Trac Tech's proven gearless technology (no interior gear teeth).  It is fully automatic and eliminates front wheel spinout common on limited slip differentials.  This technology provides easier steering in a turn by allowing the outside wheel to turn faster than the inside wheel reducing steering effort as compared to a fully locked differential.

The design and function of the Detroit Gearless Locker has been proven in off-road and street performance applications and is a natural for ATV riders wanting to stop one wheel spin outs. This product is durable and reliable.  High Lifter will provided a warranty, and if desired, a video illustrating installation.

Models for the Honda 450, 400 and 300 will be available first, with other models and brands to follow as quickly as possible. High Lifter Products is the exclusive distributor for Detroit Locker ATV Products.
