EVENT INFORMATION:
The Save Orick Committee, California Beach Fishermans
Association, California Women in Timber - N. CA Chapter,
and the BlueRibbon Coalition are hosting an event to be
held in the coastal town of Orick in Northern
California. This Independence Day celebration is geared
to highlight what has happened to our rural communities
over the last 30 years because of the preservationist
agenda of extreme green groups and land management
agencies. Members of the Shovel Brigade and Klamath
Bucket Brigade are expected to travel to Orick to join
forces with the “Freedom Flag Brigade.”
WHERE:
The event is in Orick, CA located about 35 minutes north
of Eureka. The celebration will start at noon on Sunday
July 1 on private property in the town of Orick. Over
2,000 American Flags will be passed out to those who
attend.
