Wildfires
San
Diego, CA – November 3, 2003 – The San Diego Off-Road
Coalition joined forces with other OHV organizations to answer
a call from Cleveland National Forest Volunteer Association to
establish a network to gather and distribute needed goods and
supplies to assist wildfire victims.

donation of hand tools for clean-up (shovels, rakes, garden
hoses, work gloves), linens, clothing (including shoes, socks,
gloves, warm wear), kitchen utensils (can openers, pots &
pans), toiletries, toys, and the off-roaders’ specialty –
outdoor gear (tents, ice chests, propane BBQ’s, flashlights,
batteries, radios, plastic chairs, etc.) New and used items in
good condition are sought. Food and cash are not being
solicited in this program, but will of course be accepted and
put toward the cause.
