Channel’s Television Coverage of
GNCC ATV Racing Has Begun
One hour block of ATV racing airs Tuesdays at 7 p.m. EST
Morgantown, WV – Another exciting season of Grand National
Cross Country ATV Series racing action on television begins
tonight on Speed Channel. The popular motorsports-driven cable
channel will air two half-hour ATV shows back to back every
Tuesday night at 7 p.m. EST. The one-hour block of programming
will also be repeated later that night at 1 a.m.
The
shows are produced by Seals Communications. The Atlanta,
Georgia-based company has been producing motorcycle and ATV
racing shows for over 20 years, including coverage of AMA
Supercross and AMA National Motocross competition. Now in
their second year of producing the GNCC Series, Seals has
captured all the action and excitement that make GNCC Racing
America’s most popular off-road series.
The
2003 GNCC ATV Series will air in the Tuesday time slot for the
next seven weeks. GNCC motorcycle racing will begin airing in
its time slot, Sundays at 4 p.m., in two weeks. Please consult

The
AMA Grand National Cross Country series is America’s premier
off-road racing series. One of the most physically demanding
sports in the world, the nearly three-hour long cross-country
races lead as many as 1300 riders through tracks ranging from
eight to twelve miles in length. With varied terrain including
hills, mud, dirt, rocks and motocross sections, GNCC races are
tests of both survival and speed. GNCC featured sponsors
include MSR, Yamaha, Dunlop, Wiseco, Maxxis, FMF, Klotz, and
ITP, and riders compete for over $500,000 in series prizes and
contingency money. The 13-round series airs on Speed Channel
on Tuesday nights and Sunday afternoons. Associate sponsors
include Ohlins, Cometic, Scott, Sidi, Boyesen, Twin Air, Pro
Armor, Outerwears, Laeger’s, Silent Sport and Morgantown
Honda, Suzuki, Yamaha and KTM.
