MaximumAuction.Com Announces Grand Opening
Powersports-specific online auction offers gathering
point for Cyber Swappers!
 The
industry’s first powersports-specific online auction site
announced today that it is open for business at
www.maximumauction.com. The auction site is broken into
five main sport categories— Snowmobile, ATV, Motorcycle, PWC and
Power Boats— with further subgroups within.
“We found there was a need in the powersports community for a
central place to swap equipment and gear simply and without
confusing fee structures,” said co-founder Wade West. Base fees
for any auction are 40 cents, with various listing upgrades
available. “MaximumAuction.com charges a flat 4 percent closing
fee to avoid confusion. In addition, we capped the closing fees
at $40, so any sale over $1,000 is a real bargain for our
users.”
To mark the site’s kickoff,
MaximumAuction.com has announced a Grand Opening Special
that waives the 40 cent base listing fee for all auctions posted
before June 1, 2004.
“Our goal at
MaximumAuction.com is to give enthusiasts a central place to
buy and sell their sport-related products in a simple and
economical auction environment,” West concluded.
