Americade Launches the Northeast PowerSports Rally - A Premier ATV & Snowmobile Rally in the Northeast U.S. slated for Fall 2004
New event to offer large consumer tradeshow, family-friendly riding activities, and competitive events for the large, underserved ATV & Snowmobile community

Northeast Powersports RallyQueensbury, NY - May 20, 2004 - Americade, Inc., organizers and promoters of the world’s largest motorcycle touring rally, announces the launch of an ATV & snowmobile rally to be held in the Lake George region of N.Y., scheduled for September 17-19, 2004

Named the Northeast Powersports Rally (www.powersportsrally.com), this event offers a unique blend of activities for ATV and snowmobile enthusiasts, competitors, families and individuals. The Northeast Powersports Rally includes a 30,000+ square foot consumer Expo, an ATV poker run, an ATV mud bog competition, an ATV Rodeo held under the lights of a rodeo stadium, riding events in the Adirondacks, a snowmobile grass drag competition, ATV demo rides on the latest models, rider safety classes, seminars from industry experts, club meetings and more. The ATV & Snowmobile Expo will be held in The Forum (www.lakegeorgeforum.com), a brand new 50,000 square foot conference facility in Lake George, N.Y. The ATV Poker Run and Mountain Ride will take place on scenic trails and fire roads in the Adirondacks, and the ATV Mud Bog, ATV Rodeo and Snowmobile Grass Drags will be held at nearby resorts.

Events Management Team, Inc., the company organizing this event and a sister company of Americade, Inc., hopes to attract 3000-5000 attendees its first year, with significant growth in the following years. “It’s astonishing that nationally ATVs alone have outsold all street motorcycles in the past several years, yet ATV enthusiasts have few places to ride, and very few rallies to attend,” said Bill Dutcher, President of Americade, Inc. “During a time when ATV and snowmobile enthusiasts are excited by the upcoming riding season, combining the ATV and snowmobile industries under one roof and in one event, should produce lots of excitement, as well as help the vendors who often sell equipment for both sports.”

The lack of trail access in N.Y. is a frequent complaint of ATV enthusiasts, but attendees of the Northeast Powersports Rally can take advantage of a unique offer only available during the event. TrailPassä (www.trailpass.com), a local company successfully knitting together a large, private trail system for ATVs, will be offering day passes to the 4,500+ acres in the Lake George trail system - some of the most beautiful riding found in N.Y.

Access to the event is remarkably affordable, with 1-Day Passes priced at only $5, and Multi-Day Passes priced at $15. Multi-Day Passes include discounts on all riding events, 3-day access to the Expo and the riding event spectator areas, as well as discounts on local lodging. “We’re keeping the prices low to ensure strong attendance this first year,” said Dutcher. “The Americade Rally has always been considered an excellent value by its attendees and vendors, and we hope to achieve the same result with the Northeast Powersports Rally.”
