handguards and handguard accessories PowerMadd announces the
release of their new Hand Wrap. Feedback from the woods riders
has fueled the development of the Hand Wrap to offer a
completely enclosed add-on system to the current handguards.
While the standard Star Series Handguard system is very rigid
for the motocross or snocross rider, the serious woods runners
asked for even more protection from the occasional run in with a
tree, branches, or other obstacles.

The new Hand Wrap is a black anodized extruded aluminum bar
that mounts between the end of the handlebar and the end of the
Star Series Handguards, providing a closed loop protection
system. Considerable product testing evolved the design of the
Hand Wrap into integrating a low sweep after the bar mount. This
subtle yet effective change provides substantial wrist relief
for tight turns. The top edge is rolled for a smooth contour
against your wrist and a more comfortable feel. The hand wrap
does not interfere with the snap out vent covers and optional
handguard extensions.
Mounting the Hand Wrap to your existing Star
Series Handguards is not a daunting task. Installation involves
first cutting the ends of the grips off. The positive locking
system then inserts into the end of any size handlebars and
tightens with a turn of the wrench. On the handguard side, you
simply drill one hole and bolt in place. All the necessary
hardware and complete instructions are included. But what if you
want to take the
Hand Wraps on and off for different races? No
problem, included in the kit is a set of billet aluminum end
cap's that bolt in place on the handlebars to cover your grip
ends and give a clean polished look!
The Hand Wrap kit will fit all PowerMadd Star Series
Handguards and comes complete with all mounting hardware, billet
end caps, and complete instructions.
