RIDGE RUNNER RUGGED TERRAIN VEHICLE INTRODUCES 2005 MODEL WITH NEW OPTIONS

Nampa, ID – Ridge Runner of Idaho has unveiled its 2005 model with distinctive new headlights, a reshaped roll cage that is now standard, and overhead tabs designed to take additional lights whips or antennas. Perhaps even more impressive is that the Ridge Runner 2005 model will be available with optional 700 and 800 engines featuring electronic fuel injection (EFI).

The reconfigured roll cage leaves the rear cargo deck clear and more useful for hauling camping gear, bales of hay, dead elk or tools and supplies. An optional, enlarged cargo deck is also available.

With a growing list of new dealers and a backlog of factory-direct sales to consumers, Ridge Runner considers its first season in the marketplace highly successful. “With the exposure we’ve had in the media, at trade shows and through owners showing off their new Ridge Runners to other people, we’ve started adding more tooling to our production line,” said Ridge Runner President Dan Denney.

The Ridge Runner was designed as a Rugged Terrain Vehicle, or RTV, for exploring back country, riding sand dunes, hunting, fishing and camping.

There are a number of unique benefits associated with the Ridge Runner. It has the added safety of seat and shoulder belts, a durable roll cage, and higher ground clearance. The chassis is suspended 18” above ground and the wheels have 13.5” of travel with individual suspension and Fox Racing Air Shox. Spouses and kids really enjoy the bucket seats as well as the smooth ride.

Ridge Runners can tackle rough roads or boulder-strewn fields at speeds that might flip a quad or ATV. It can clear objects that would hang up a Jeep with big tires or a Hummer. It can run through streams that would cause wet feet in anything else and will go through a foot of snow like it is on a dry road.
