Suzuki Promotes Felts to Off-Road PR
Administrator
BREA, Calif., May 12, 2005 – American Suzuki Motor Corp. (ASMC)
announced today that Joe Felts has been promoted to the role of
Off-Road Press Relations Administrator for ASMC’s motorcycle/ATV
division. Felts will be responsible for press relations in
regards to Suzuki ATV and off-road/motocross product lines. He
will report directly to Glenn Hansen, ASMC’s advertising and
press relations manager for the motorcycle/ATV division.
For the past five years, Felts has worked at ASMC’s sales
order desk and most recently as the motorcycle/ATV events
marketing administrator. His company experience, special events
and product knowledge, and extreme passion for the dirt helped
him land the press relations position.
“I’ve been riding dirt bikes since I was 5 years old,
starting with a Suzuki RM60 and moving up the ranks to an RM250.
I am passionate about the brand and the sport, which is why I
put my name in the hat for this position. This is my ideal job,”
said Felts.
Felts’ new boss welcomes his talent and enthusiasm. “He’s
exactly what we were looking for. His enthusiasm and love for
the sport will truly be an asset to the company. He lives the
Suzuki story and we know he’ll do a great job communicating the
product to the media,” said Hansen.
“I’m thrilled to be a part of Suzuki's vision for its
motocross and off-road future and look forward to years of
growth and development with Suzuki. Being an enthusiast myself
makes this position a dream come true,” summed up Felts.
Felts, 24, lives in Huntington Beach, Calif.
