Polaris Announces Limited Edition ATVs for 2006
From hunters to racers, lineup offers
something for everyone
Polaris Industries today announced ten
limited edition ATVs for 2006. As with all
models, Polaris secured feedback from consumers,
dealers, Way Out Training Team members and
internal staff to help determine the 2006 LE
models.
To create the perfect vehicle for hunting
enthusiasts, Polaris also signed a three-year,
licensing agreement with Browning, the premier
firearms manufacturer, to offer Browning LE ATV
models.
“Our Limited Edition models are The World’s
toughest ATVs with unique, value-packed options
for ATV enthusiasts who demand the best,” said
Mike Dougherty, general manager for the ATV
Division at Polaris. “Whether the consumer is an
avid outdoorsman or casual recreational rider, a
Polaris LE ATV will meet their needs.”
New Polaris LE ATV models include:
2006 Sportsman 500 EFI Red Flame-EFI power
with a flaming hot paint job
Additional features on the limited edition
model include:
- Sunset red/silver paint
- Flame graphics
- Cast aluminum rims
The MSRP (US) is $7,399, and the MSRP
(Canada) is $10,099. Machines will be available
in US and Canadian dealerships in March.
2006 Camo Hawkeye 300 4x4-Full-featured 300,

- Black bumper guard
- Black rims
The MSRP (US) is $5,049, and the MSRP
(Canada) is $7,149. Machines will be available
in US and Canadian dealerships in April.
2006 Sportsman Browning Hunter Editions-The
ultimate hunting machines
Four Browning editions are offered in the
450, 500 H.O. EFI, 700 Twin EFI and 800 Twin EFI
models. All include the following additional
features:
- Mossy Oak® “Break Up™” brand pattern
- Camo-pattern rims
- Handwarmers, thumb warmer
- Rear rack extenders
- Garmin GPS with mounting bracket and DC
plug
- Gun scabbard with Lock & Ride™ gun mount
- 2500 lb winch
Machines will be available in US and Canadian
