SuperTrapp Teams with ATV Legend to Create New Exhaust System

CLEVELAND, OH – April 20, 2006 – SuperTrapp Industries (www.supertrapp.com) announces its new racing exhaust, designed by ATV engine building legend Tom Carlson. The new racing exhaust is now available at a local dealerships.

Carlson, a master ATV engine builder for 20 years, promises the exhaust has a little something for everyone.

“I’m so proud of this pipe,” he said. “It’s a great fit for either trail riders or racers and it’s a real eye-grabber.”

Available for the Yamaha YFZ450 (part # 865-4450) the Honda TRX450 (part# 865-3450) and the Suzuki LTZ450 (part# 865-5450), the SuperTrapp TCR exhaust is designed with a stepped-headpipe system, allowing riders to maintain broad power delivery throughout the powerband.

Far quieter than most pipes on the ATV racing circuit, the exhaust features SuperTrapp’s patented tuneable disc technology, which allows riders to add discs to increase horsepower and exhaust tone or remove them to increase low-end torque and reduce sound.

Although it may be quiet, it’s still deadly in the performance department. Carlson promises the exhaust delivers acceleration power in spades: “This pipe will rip your arms right off,” he joked.

The exhaust comes installed with a removable closed-end cap. For trail riders, the end cap not only reduces sound, but functions as a US Forest Service approved spark arrestor.

SuperTrapp sponsored racers Jason Luburgh, Jason Dunkelberger and the rest of Carlson’s TC Racing team will also sport the SuperTrapp TCR exhaust during the 2006 ATVA ITP-Moose Grand National Motocross season.

See the new exhaust in action during the next round of GNC races. For a complete schedule, visit the ATVA’s official website at www.atvaonline.com.
