NEW OPTIONAL HIGH- AND
LOW-SPEED ADJUSTMENT AVAILABLE ON SELECTED MINI
SERIES PRODUCTS
Elka Suspension is now offering a new
adjustment option on all Mini Series 36 mm body
products. These products currently include our
Kawasaki KLX110 and Suzuki DRZ110 models (for
stock geometry as well as extended length
swingarms like MetalTek), the BBR SuperShock
(exclusive to BBR), the Reeg MX exclusive shock
and models available from BigMinis.
This new high- and low-speed compression
adjustment (HS/LS) provides a broader range of
adjustment. It allows independent adjustment of
the hydraulic damping for high-speed shaft
displacement from the low-speed movement of the
shock absorber.
Riders can now fine-tune their suspension to
get optimal performance over an entire track
without any compromise. They can adjust the
damping in low-speed to control the squat under
hard acceleration, when cornering and on g-outs.
The high-speed adjustment will help fine-tune
the damping to prevent bottoming on harsh
impacts or big jumps and remove vibration over
choppy terrain. The adjustments do not affect
each other, or the rebound.
This new adjustment option will benefit
riders in any type of riding, but particularly
in racing situations, where the track conditions
can vary dramatically, and in supermoto, where
ultimate traction is mandatory.
