YFZ450 CHARGING PROBLEMS: SOLVED!
 Rick’s Motorsport Electrics takes the pain
out of charging your YFZ! Rick’s introduces a
new charging kit for the YFZ450 that can run
with or without lights. The new kit has an
output of 140 watts of power.
 Included in the charging system replacement
kit are: a custom-designed, high output, stator
and a heavy duty modified regulator. These two
components are direct plug-in, bolt-on pieces
and come with a one year warranty. The kit
retails for $260 and includes easy installation
instructions in the box.
“This is the perfect solution for racers that
don’t use their headlights or owners with stock
headlights,” says Rick’s Motorsport Electrics
president Richard Shaw. “Our design eliminates
all of the headaches that come with the O.E.
charging system on these YFZ’s.”
Rick’s also offers another YFZ kit with an
output of 250 watts of power. This kit will
easily accommodate additional lights and/or a
turbo charging system. For more information on
