DP BRAKES ANNOUNCES 2007 SPONSORSHIP OF OFF-ROAD AND MX TEAMS AND RIDERS

BUFFALO, NY. - DP Brakes, the leader in sintered braking technology, has signed a record number of motocross and off-road teams and riders for the 2007 season.

In Motocross and Supercross, the Pro-Circuit Kawasaki team consisting of AMA Lites MX champ Ryan Villopoto along with teammates Ben Townley, Chris Gosselaar and Brett Metcalfe. Another team will be Chaplin Kawasaki’s Robby Marshal, Billy Ainsworth and Craig Dube.

In Arenacross there will be Tuf Honda Racing’s Danny Smith and Justin Buckelow competing in Toyota’s AMA Series. In the Boo Koo Series Babbitt’s Kawasaki’s Darcy Lange and Jeff Northrup will be relying on DP Brakes to get them to the podium.

On the various off-road circuits DP Brakes products will be used by Team Suzuki Offroad riders Rodney Smith, Jimmy Jarrett and Glenn Kearney in GNCC plus Ryan Hughes and Mike Kiedrowski in the WORCS Series. Team Pro-Circuit Kawasaki Offroad riders Fred Andrews, Cole Calkins, Scott Watkins and P.A. Allen will be competing in the GNCC Series plus other offroad events. Team Green Kawasaki’s Destry Abbott will also be trying to defend his AMA National Hare and Hound Title. Other notable GNCC riders that will be counting on DP Brakes in 2007 are Andrew Matusek in 4 Stroke A, Chris Buzzelli in open A, Jessica Patterson in Women’s Class, Mark Smith in Senior A and Michael Schwartz in Super Senior.
