YUASA ANNOUNCES "WINNER'S CHOICE" SWEEPSTAKES GRAND PRIZE WINNER

LAURELDALE, PA.,  August 14, 2007 - Yuasa Battery Inc., the leading manufacturer of batteries for powersports vehicles, has announced that David Martell of Chesterville County, Va., won the Yuasa Battery "Winner's Choice" Sweepstakes.

Those who entered the sweepstakes had the chance to win and choose from one of the four grand prizes; a Sea-Doo GTI, Kawasaki Volcan 900 Classic LT, Honda TRX450R or an Arctic Cat Prowler XT 650H1.

Of these prize choices, Martell chose the Arctic Cat ATV Prowler XT 650H1. Martell, a pharmacist, and his wife, Margaret, a nurse, have two sons and two grandsons. They all enjoy the great outdoors and are often found hunting and fishing.  "For the past year I have been looking at the Arctic Cat ATV. When I saw the sweepstakes I immediately entered," says Martel. " I am very excited and have never won anything like this in my life."

Martell's new Arctic Cat ATV will join his Suzuki ATV and Seadoo, all three equipped with a Yuasa battery. "Friends of mine have Arctic Cat ATVs and really enjoy them," says Martell. "Our hunting club leases land in Nottoway County where there are miles of trails and bridges along the river. It's a great place to enjoy our powersports vehicles."

In addition, twenty-five first place prizes consisting of a Yuasa battery charger, Yuasa jumper cables, and a Yuasa battery also were given away.

The Yuasa Battery "Winner's Choice" Sweepstakes was a fun way to extend brand awareness to powersports enthusiasts. Participants could enter the contest between January 2-June 30, 2007 by visiting the Yuasa sweepstakes web site or by mailing an index card with the appropriate information.  An Independent Sweepstakes Administrator selected the winners in a random drawing.
