AcrEase Pull Behind 44 Rough Cut Mowers

AcrEase Pull Behind 44" Rough Cut Mower |
Mendota, IL (January 30,
2008) -- For 2008, Kunz Engineering Inc. is
introducing two models of the all NEW AcrEase
44 Rough Cut Mower. Similar to the larger
AcrEase 57 Rough Cut Mowers that were
introduced in the year 2000, the 44 models are
built with superior quality and performance in
mind. The 44 models are built for those
that want a professional grade pull behind mower
but dont necessarily have the acreage or
clearance to justify the larger 57 models.
The 44 models are capable of quickly
maintaining overgrown fields, pastures, trails
and food plots. These mowers are designed
to be easily pulled either directly behind or
fully offset to the side of ATVs and other tow
vehicles.
This extremely maneuverable mowing machine is
self-contained and features a rear discharge,
heavy duty 44 cutting width deck, electric
start 17.5-18 HP engine option, and a durable
manual clutch for blade engagement. To
reduce the bunching problems associated with
most rough cut mowers, its design features two
23 blades that increase mulching action.
The cutting height can easily be adjusted
infinitely from 2 to 8 by turning a single
crank located at the back of the mower deck.
The heavy deck is formed from 10 ga. steel with
7 ga. sides and top plate which is then
reinforced with 1/4 thick steel plates in the
blade spindle area. Blade spindles are
constructed with large 30 mm. shafts and can
withstand the abuse of cutting up to 2 dia.
saplings. This tow-behind mower also has
all four tires positioned within the width of
the deck to allow for mowing close to objects.
Four tires also means better floatation on
rough, uneven ground.
