FISHER'S ATV WORLD FEATURES SEGMENT ON ATVs AND
PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES
Show is scheduled to air on the Outdoor
Channel on March 24 & 25
The National Off-Highway Vehicle Conservation
Council President of the Board Directors, Dan
Kleen is featured in an upcoming episode of the
award-winning television show Fisher's ATV
World. The show airs March 24 and 25
(Monday-Tuesday) and features a segment on ATVs
and People with Disabilities along with a report
on the 2007 TrailFest at the Hatfield/McCoy
trail system in West Virginia.
"OHVs are a great equalizer for people with
limited mobility," says Kleen, whose typical
mode of transportation is a wheelchair. "It's
one of the few sports I can participate in fully
and I don't even need any special modifications
for my ATV. OHVing allows me to keep up and go
where everybody else can go out on the trails.
In the backcountry I get to enjoy all the
wildlife and nature, as well as spending quality
time with family and friends. It's one of my
favorite things to do."
The Outdoor Channel currently reaches over 30
million households through cable and satellite
networks. Previously in 2007 the show ran in
syndication on a wide variety of channels, but
now will be shown exclusively on The Outdoor
Channel where 26 new episodes are scheduled to
run in '08.
