Pikeville, KY -- Knott county, Ky will be
present at the Indianapolis Dealer Expo on
February 13,14, and 15. They will be
telling all about their new trail system slated
to open this year in the summertime. The Indy
Dealer Expo is the largest and oldest
powersports aftermarket tradeshow in the U.S.
Knott County will welcome
AM-Pro
Racing's Randy Hawkins and Jason Raines to
sign autographs and talk about Knott County and
off-road racing.
A legend on the National Enduro scene during his
17 years of racing, Hawkins is a seven-time
American Motorcyclist Association National
Enduro Champion and winner of 13 ISDE gold
medals; he has 73 national AMA victories. While
he still races in select events, he has moved
from full-time racing to team owner/manager of
AM-Pro Racing. With a wealth of knowledge from
his years as a champion off-road racer, Hawkins
is an invaluable mentor to his riders as well as
a great spokesman for the sport. Hawkins
was inducted into the AMA Motorcycle Hall of
Fame Museum on December 5, 2009 at the Hard Rock
Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada.
A five-time AMA National Hare Scrambles
Champion, Raines made history in 2007 by taking
the 2007 WR450F to its maiden victory during the
final rounds of the 2007 AMA National Hare
Scrambles Championships. Overall, he is a
five-time AMA National Hare Scrambles Champion
and was the Japanese Cross Country Champion in
2003; he has three ISDE gold medals, one ISDE
silver medal and 35 AMA National Off-Road
victories.
Hawkins and Raines will be on-hand at the Knott
County Trails Booth 2811 on Saturday, Feb. 13th,
starting at 11am, 1pm and 3 pm.; Sunday, Feb.
14th, starting at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m., and 3pm.
