Even More

Featherlite Trailers’ “Mod Pod”
Recreation and Cargo Trailer |
CRESCO, IA (June 25, 2010) — Featherlite
Trailers’ popular
Model 1609 “Mod Pod” multi-purpose
utility trailer is now even more versatile,
courtesy of a larger size now available.
Featherlite unveiled this new configuration at
its 2010 International Dealer Meeting, along
with the rest of its 2011 product line. All new
models and enhancements are now available
through Featherlite’s dealers.
“The new size of the Mod Pod gives trailer
owners more cargo space,” Randy Lewis,
Featherlite’s National Sales Manager, said.
“More space equals more options when hauling
cargo. That puts Mod Pod owners ahead of the
curve.”
The new size configuration has a 5’ internal
height and a 10’ length. This new configuration
is great for hauling items such as bicycles,
camping and hiking gear, antiques or
construction materials. Regardless of cargo, the
Mod Pod’s pop-up roof gives owners easy access
for loading and unloading.
The Mod Pod also offers several options that
increase safety and convenience. Among these are
floor tie downs, an interior LED light, a
luggage rack and a tool box with enclosed tire
carrier.
All 2011 models are available for order at
any one of Featherlite’s 180 dealerships. For
