Real men wear pink?! Are you kidding?
If you believe that after watching H-Bomb
Film’s, National Born Killers, you should
probably buy a dirt-bike and start riding with
Bubba Stewart and the rest of the two-wheeled
guys. H-Bomb Films blasts the four-wheeled
action with an inside look at the 2006 ATVA
National Motocross Series, proving that real men
don’t wear pink!
The 2006 season was marked by drama, tragic
injuries, and a championship points race that
culminated with a winner in the final round.
Stars of the show include: Joe Byrd, Doug
Gust, Jeremiah Jones, John Natalie, Keith
Little, Jeremy Lawson, Dustin Wimmer, Pat Brown,
Travis Spader, Jason Dunkleberger, Harold
Goodman, Kory Ellis, Tim Farr, and Joe Haavisto.
With vivid screen shots that put you in the
race action, you can almost feel the dirt smack
you in the face as riders slide around the
turns. The graphic, slow-mo shots give you goose
bumps, as riders sky high over the doubles and
triples while the real-time action makes you
feel as though you are a spectator at the race.
The film recaps each race of the 2006 season,
providing race results and point tallies.
Think you’ve got what it takes to be a
national, pro racer? Listen to the pros talk
about the daily trials of enduring the
challenges faced out on the national circuit.
The work and preparation is endless, and there’s
a grocery list of possible injuries. Riders
recount a lengthy inventory of broken legs,
hands, and vertebrae, lacerated kidneys,
punctured lungs, and chunks of bones being torn
from their bodies as they race towards the
championship.
Hear how the competition of the ATVA National
Motocross Series is getting tougher, as the
business of ATV racing continues to grow with
factory funding increases. Friendships take 2nd
chair as prizes and purses continue to grow.
Watch the bumping and banging that goes on
during races and the trash talking among racers
as heated rivalries develop between pro riders,
the pressure to win pushing them even harder.
Learn how families play a big part in the
lives of riders as wives examine faster lines
during practices, dads make repairs, and moms
see that everyone is keeping their head on
straight. Everyone plays a part, as riders and
mechanics work to make sure man and machine are
at their best. Their grueling schedule requires
long work weeks to allow for physical training,
practices, machine repair and upgrades, and
travel to the next event.
On a much sadder note, this move captures the
emotions of the career-ending injury to Suzuki
rider, Jeremiah Jones, during Round 12 at the
Unadilla Valley Sports Center in New Berlin, New
York. The NBK film chronicles the tragedy and
details how the event impacted Jeremiah and his
fellow pro racers.
“National Born Killers” covers the heart of
ATV racing. Featuring the top pro riders in the
world battling for the National tile, this film
brings you the in-depth, behind- the-scenes
coverage most fans can only dream of seeing.
Witness what top-level racers deal with in a
single season… Filmed and edited by the
multi-time award winning ‘Huevos’ crew, National
Born Killers is another H-Bomb classic.”
Talking with film producer Wes Miller, Wes
says of NBK, “I wanted to do a different style
film than the Huevos series. I wanted to do more
of a documentary showing the behind-the-scenes
aspect of pro ATV racing. I really wanted people
to be able to see how much hard work and
dedication it takes to be a top racer. I also
wanted to showcase the skill these amazing
athletes possess.
Take this opportunity to get an inside look
