- Pro Quad Championship Series
Round 4 RCA Dome Indianapolis, IN January
20, 2001
By Brian

Tim
Farr took home the victory and carries a 5-point lead
over Jeremia Jones into this weekends Round 5 at
Edison Field in Anaheim, California.
Tim Farr has won three of four rounds and
finished second in his only non-winning race.
The championship is still wide open as any of the
top 5 riders can claim the crown pending the results
from the final two rounds.
Tim Farr
grabbed the holeshot and quickly increased his lead over
second place to take home the victory.
Jeremiah Jones tried his best to dial in Farr,
but finished second.
The battle for third and fourth place shaped up
as John Natalie passed Kory Ellis for the third place.
The top
riders had no problems getting out in front and quickly
proceeded to lap the field.
The Indy track was setup as a high-speed oval/TT
style track with two respectable jumps thrown in to
allow the quad pilots to air it out.
With the layout of the track for the Monster
Trucks, the SFX crew told us they had virtually no
options to build any other style of track.
A sell out
crowd witnessed an action filled main event.
SFX officials toyed with the idea to invert the
start (heat race winners in the back) but chose not to
due to heavy debate from the riders.
Officials say they are considering the inverted
field for the final two rounds in California.

Dana
Creech, John Natalie, and Nate Frees provided the sell
out crowd with a highflying aerial exhibition for the
Indy "big air" title. The jump was a 75-foot
gap staged directly in the middle of the floor.
Nac's race team coordinator, Sean "Serm"
Sermini provided the high flying play by play.
The
challenge was best two out of three jumps.
Nates best jump was a double heel clicker.
John Natalie pulled off his best jump; a Cliff
Hanger, and Dana Creech stretched out his trademark
Superman. The
sell out crowd was on their feet and raised the RCA
Domes roof with deafening approval for the Freestyle
quad riders.
Who says
a quad and its pilot can't do what a dirt bike can?
Mr. Sermini determined the outcome to be a
three-way tie much to the crowds approval.
The
Indianapolis event is scheduled to be televised on the
TNN Motor Madness/Monster Jam show sometime during
February. Check
