2004 Central America ATV Championship Series
at Thayer Motorsport Farm

The drive to Thayer, MO was a 50-mile jaunt in spring beauty. The first rays of light streaked between the clouds. It was the day of the 2004 Central America ATV Championship Series at Thayer Motorsport Farm. I checked the local weather forecast and the website to make sure I had directions and that the race had not been called for rain as it had rained a toad strangling rain the day before. After assuring myself that there would be a race today, I was off. Signups were a steady pace and they all had their inspection stickers, meeting the Central America ATV requirements. The race schedule was set and the first in the line up was the 400 Production Limited.

The gate was dropped and the nine ATV’s were out. The race made it through the first moto before the torrential rains came. Here are the results.
