possible for the racing action. Bob Oertle, track manager for

Grader for the event, and we are lucky to have the support of
local companies like his to help produce the races for the youth
and pro classes. “ “Carter County Dodge is the Title Sponsor in
Ardmore. Budweiser and the Comfort Inn also support the indoor
races. These firms help with logistics, promotion and trophies
for the participants.” “We always feel very welcome in Ardmore,
several of the young riders that compete in the races have
parents that help with the promotion and production of the
races. Several of the racers participated in last months
Christmas Parade in downtown Ardmore. The Ardmorerite Newspaper
always provides excellent coverage complete with a photo of the
last round held Dec 4, at Hardy Murphy Coliseum.”
Look for additional Dirt Karts this round, as the Caged or Champ
Kart racers from Wichita Falls, Texas, Altus Oklahoma and a
group from Muskogee have entered into the competition for Jan
15. These Karts incorporate a roll cage, which provides
additional protection for the rider during rollovers.
