Short-track racers get their own National
Promoter and avid Short Track racer Billy Clayton is excited
about hosting this year's ATVA Short Track National.
"There are tons of dedicated Short Track racers that want a
separate National just for them,” said Clayton. The 1/5-mile
banked clay oval in Sikeston, Missouri, makes for excellent
Short Track racing. Riders are not required to race the same
classes in Short Track as they do in other forms of racing.
Gates will open at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 6, and practice
will start at 2 p.m., with racing to follow.
Entry fees will be $85 for the Pro class with a 150 percent
pay back. Pro Am classes are $60 with 80 percent pay back.
Amateur entry fees are $35 with awards to the top five.
