ATV Mud Mania 2005

As always the highlight of the weekend will be the mud bog. We promise this will be the biggest and most competitive mud bog we have ever done. This truly promises to be a huge battle to the end.

As mentioned on the "bog rules" page we will now be running bracket races instead of timed races. This means that you will have to face off head to head with others, and have to beat them.

We will be trying to incorporate some club events on Friday to keep you all busy and give you a reason to get there early.

The Details

• Mud Bog
• Team Mud Bog
  • The team mud bog will be a 2 man team competition. Members of each team will line up against each other in a free for all battle to see who has the best team around. Once teams cross the start line you may push, pull, winch, or do anything else that you can do to get your bike across the line. To win both members of your team must complete the course and cross the finish line before the other team. If a member of your team has problems and cannot complete the race you can still win by pushing or pulling them across the finish line before the other team finishes.
    
    If a member of a team has problems with their bike and they are unable to continue after winning a round they may substitute for another member. When you sign up for the team bog you must give the names of your two primary riders and your two secondary riders. You will only be allowed to have two secondary riders. If you do not have two riders you will not be allowed to compete.
• Water Wheelie Challenge
  • We will be having a water wheelie competition this year. The way we will do this is have a designated water hole for everyone to run through. There will be a start line and a finish line. Your first run will be a dry run where you have to get your front tires out of the water and make it from the start line to the finish line without your front tires touching the water line.
    
    There will be lines on the outsides to mark out of bounds. If a rider goes outside of the lines they will be disqualified.

Other Information:

• There will be a live band Saturday night.
• ATV Mud Mania will be providing a mechanic on site who will repair your bikes to keep you running. All services by the mechanic will be free of charge to all attendants of the event. Mechanic will be provided by Perkin's Tire and Polaris. There will also be an on-site parts trailer where you can buy parts to get your bike running or keep it running. The trailer will have a large selection of parts for a whole array of ATV's.
• Food: Last time we had a large supply of crawfish on hand, but unfortunately October is not the crawfish season and is almost impossible to get the amount that we need. We are thinking about substituting the crawfish with boiled shrimp and crabs as well as other concessions.

• $10 per person & $15 per ATV
