2005 Suzuki GNCC Banquet Schedule Announced
ATV banquet Saturday, November 26th, Bike Banquet Saturday, December 3rd

Morgantown, WV – Racer Productions, the producer of the Suzuki Grand National Cross Country Series, has announced the 2005 GNCC year-end banquets will once again be held at Lakeview Resort in Morgantown, West Virginia. The ATV Banquet will take place on Saturday, November 26th, and the Bike Banquet on Saturday, December 3rd. Arrival time for both banquets is 6 p.m.

The banquets award the top-ten finishers in every GNCC class with plaques, prizes and contingency, and it also gives the racers an opportunity to thank the people who helped them reach their achievement. The banquet is a fun event, because it gives riders a chance to mingle without dealing with the pressure of winning or losing a race.

A live band will play in the Lakeview lounge, which will be reserved for the racers. A buffet dinner will also be served. Lakeview will offer a special room rate for racers, and the facility offers an array of things to do, from spas, pools and workout rooms, to a variety of restaurants.

The AMA-sanctioned Suzuki Grand National Cross Country series is America’s premier off-road racing series. The 13-round series is produced exclusively by Racer Productions. Cross-country racing is one of the most physically demanding sports in the world. The nearly three-hour long GNCC races lead as many as 1500 riders through tracks ranging from eight to twelve miles in length. With varied terrain including hills, mud, dirt, rocks and motocross sections, GNCC events are tests of both survival and speed.
