announced in conjunction with AMA National Ice Racing
Championships

Ice National
Press Releases
Update # 1 for the Ice National
Most commonly asked questions:
- Q. What is the Grand Prix Class?
- A: This will be a road course class, both right and left
hand turns! Yes front brakes will be allowed. You must at
least remove the lever to run the OVAL classes.
- Q. Will we have a women’s quad class?
A: I need to hear from you, the racers, as we need a minimum
of 12 racers in the class to justify running it. If you
don’t contact us, we won’t know if there is enough interest.
Send an email to
sbiese@fantasymoto.com with your name and email or phone
number so we can contact you. In the subject line please
type “Women’s Class.”
- Q. Will Quad A or Open be a payback classes?
A: YES, it will be a set amount based on number of entries
into each class.
- Q. Kold Kutter Shootout, what are the rules?
A: This is a two-part answer, please read carefully. 1st –
You must be an “A” class rider, have a semi-pro license OR
Fantasy Moto also has a “promoters choice” so we can include
some fast amateur guys that obviously have the talent to run
with the big guns
- Q. Will there be a second Kold Kutter Shootout class as
in the past?
A: YES, we are adding a second Kold Kutter class. The two
classes will now be Kold Kutter 250-450 and Kold Kutter 250
Open. This update will be reflected on the on-line entry
form within a day or two.
For those of you who don’t know me, I have an uncanny ability
to raise money for “Payback” type classes on race day. In
addition to 100% payback for the second Kold Kutter class – we
will also be adding money through my fund raising skills over
the weekend. My record is $5010 in less than ˝ hour – hopefully
I can pull out all the stops and top that for the Ice Racing
Nationals. No promises – but if I were you, I’d get signed up!
Email Newsletter – I’ve been noticing a lot of new names for
the newsletter, tell your friends to get signed up as updates
like this one are first released through the newsletter, and
then posted online.
Have a great week and Happy Ice Riding – I’ll be headed out
myself this weekend!
