Pirelli is Exclusive
Sponsor of AWRCS Racing Series
Pirelli has reached an agreement to be the
exclusive motorcycle and ATV tire sponsor of the
American Woods Racing Championship Series (AWRCS)
for 2006. The AWRCS is the fastest growing woods
racings series in America, attracting a growing
number of pro and amateur riders and sponsors
from the motorcycle and ATV industry. With
300-400 riders participating at its events, the
infant AWRCS series has already proven its
popularity.
In 2006 the AWRCS will host ten two-day
events offering a full day each for quads and
motorcycles. The full schedule, which is
designed not to conflict with other
cross-country series, is available at: awrcs.com,

Pirelli is the first tire manufacturer to
offer contingency support for racers in the
AWRCS series, and will be doing it for both
motorcycle and ATV classes. Tire support at each
event will be provided by Rick Thompson’s Grove
City Motorsports. In addition to sponsoring the
AWRCS series, Pirelli is sponsoring the
defending ATV champion, pro racer Johnny
Gallagher.
