REGISTRATION OPEN FOR WPSA
POWERSPORTS ATV CHAMPIONSHIP TOUR

WHITE BEAR LAKE, Minn. (May 9, 2006) —
Registration for the season-opening WPSA
PowerSports ATV Championship Tour event at
Daniel Boone MX in London, Ky. is now open. The
double championship race is scheduled for
Saturday and Sunday May 20-21. Please visit
www.powersportstour.com to download the
registration forms.
Registration will also be open at the track
from 1-6 p.m. on Thursday, May 18; from 8 a.m.-8
p.m. on Friday, May 19; and from 6-7:30 a.m. on
Saturday, May 20. Pre-registration is
encouraged, but not required. Riders are allowed
to sign up for multiple classes per the
PowerSports ATV Championship Tour Rulebook.
The double championship weekend will feature
a full card of ATV racing in both of the Tour’s
racing series: the “QuadMX Series” and the
“QuadTerrain Challenge Series.” QuadMX consists
of professional and pro-am sport MX racing on
pro-style, big-air MX tracks. The QuadTerrain
Challenge comprises professional and pro-am
sport utility racing on purpose-built
all-terrain racing courses. ATVs allowed to
compete include stock, near-stock utility-type,
and modified. A full schedule of events will be
announced soon.
The Tour recently released its 2006 rulebook
and supplementary regulations, as well as its
purse structure. Among the many changes in the
rulebook are the addition of Manufacturers’ and
Rookie of Year Championships in the Tour’s Pro
classes. The Tour will also award a Riders’
Championship in all of its classes. The $22,500
purse will pay to 20th place in the Pro classes
in QuadMX and to 15th place in QuadTerrain
Challenge Pro classes.

The PowerSports ATV Tour is North America’s
newest ATV racing tour and features the greatest
show on dirt. The Tour is North America’s
premier form of ATV racing, with its jumps,
gyrations and dirt-slinging racing action. The
Tour is sanctioned by the World PowerSports
Association, North America’s largest and most
respected snowmobile sanctioning body, and
promoter of ATV and snowmobile racing on both
