Falcon Extreme Motorsports
New England Grand Invitational will be Held at
Thompson Speedway May 27th
(PRWEB) May 19, 2006 -- Admission is just $25
to see nearly a hundred racers get on their
motocross bikes, Baha Buggies, MX quads,
pit-bikes and RHINOs to take their machines to
the limit and win trophies, prizes and points
for the championship offering large purses of
cash. This will be the first time in history
that a Daytona-style motocross track will be
built at the Thompson Speedway. The owners of
the Speedway have taken the first step to bring
this new and growing extreme sport to a new
level of racing competition.
The event is hosted by the Thompson Speedway,
but promoted and organized by the professionals
from Falcon Extreme Motorsports. Falcon Extreme
has also teamed up with Drew Stone (MTV’s True
Life “I live to ride”) from Drew Stone Films of
New York to film the entire, day-long event for
their next adrenaline-laded documentary. The
company is well-known in racing circles for
films such as “Urban Street Bike Warriors” and
“Passion and Brotherhood” (being released July
4th).
People who wish to learn more about the event
or join one of the races may visit
falconextreme.com. The event will be
supervised by the professionals at Falcon
Extreme who have been sponsoring races and
events such as these for over five years in
Southern New England. The promoter, Brent Sellew,
is a true fan of the awe that these machines
offer riders and their audience. “There is just
no other feeling that you can get that is even
close to this.” explains Sellew. “This is the
extreme, the top of the top, we get to enjoy the
horsepower that the manufacturers intended on a
safe, controlled course and live to tell about
it.”
That, above all else, is the most important
message of Falcon Extreme. That, although they
enjoy the adrenaline and rush of the machines
racing by, every rider must wear the proper
safety gear and operate in a safe manner. Every
event has the proper support to ensure that the
riders’ safety is the top priority. Falcon
Extreme does not encourage people to ride their
machines in an unsafe manner. “If anything,”
says Sellew “we’re giving them an outlet. A way
to enjoy their machines safely. How many times
have we heard from people that there should be a
place for people to ride their motorbike or ATV?
We’re giving them one right here.”
The event will be held at the Thompson
International Speedway all day, Saturday, May
27th. Tickets are just $25 for the entire day of
races and fun. The owners of the Speedway are
pleased with Falcon deciding to use their venue
as the first-ever staging in New England of this
type of event. “We know that they do a great job
and emphasize a family-friendly environment at
their events, “says Ben Dodge of the Thompson
Speedway, “we’re really looking forward this.”
Falcon Motorsports can be found online at
www.falconextreme.com with all their
regional schedules and events and races and
pictures of attendees and participants. Riders
can join Falcon Extreme with downloadable
membership forms and information on races that
are held all over the region. Falcon Extreme
Motorsports is a safe, family-friendly event
promotions company that above all else,
emphasizes safety and control. They have been
operating in Southern New England since early
2001.
