“Lucas Oil Ultimate ATV
Experience” at Crandon Raceway This Weekend
Crandon, WI - If you are looking for a true
weekend of ATV recreation, your search stops at
Crandon International Off-Road Raceway this
coming July 22-23 for the “Lucas Oil Ultimate
ATV Experience.” This inaugural ATV adventure
weekend at Crandon truly has something for
everyone. Hundreds and hundreds of ATV
enthusiasts are expected in Crandon this coming
weekend for the ATV adventure of 2006.
Mud bogs, dirt drags, trail riding, new model
test rides, quad freestyle, challenge courses,
cross-country, TT and motocross racing is just
the start of what is on tap for ATV enthusiasts
in Crandon this coming weekend.
All general admission ticket holders will
have the opportunity to play and ride in one of
several categories including Mud Run, Dirt
Drags, Obstacle Course, a new Model Test Area
and challenging trail rides for a single weekend
admission pass.
The activity line-up continues to grow as the
event draws near. Early arrivals on Friday, July
21st will be treated to guided trail rides by
several of the volunteers who helped design the
trail system in the pristine wilderness of the
Crandon Facility. The trail system and the
cross-country events are truly going to be the
gems of this event.
Crandon Raceway owns and operates nearly 400
acres of private land. Approximately 100 acres
are dedicated to professional off-road racing.
The Lucas Oil Ultimate ATV weekend incorporates
all 400 acres into the entertainment package.
Fox Valley ATV Accessories is organizing a
“Treasure Hunt” for the weekend. “We really want
all ATV enthusiasts to get involved in this
event, the Treasure Hunt is something that can
be enjoyed by ATVer’s of all ages. We will have
some great prizes from the event sponsors. It’s
just one more thing that will insure the growth
of this great event,” comments Vern Lee of Fox
Valley ATV.
Sick-Air FMX is going to flip out –
literally, with two extreme exhibitions on
Saturday. The first show is scheduled following
the cross-country races on Saturday with the
second show in the late afternoon at the
conclusion of the TT-event. A full back-flip is
one of the scheduled stunts.
New model ATVs and side-by-sides as well as
all the latest in accessories to keep your ATV
running at peak performance will be on display
throughout the weekend on Vendors row.
The “Lucas Oil Ultimate ATV Experience”
bridges the gap between the recreational rider
and the most experienced racer. It’s rare in the
sports entertainment industry that the general
admission ticket holder is allowed to watch the
most elite riders and at the same time offers
participation courses specifically targeted to
the recreational enthusiast. Even the most
devoted race spectators need a diversion from
watching race after race.
The “Lucas Oil Ultimate ATV Experience”
entices members of all ages to jump on their ATV
and participate in challenges built for their
skill level. Whether you purchased your ATV for
farm use, home use, trail riding or racing, this
event is more than a race, it’s more than a
trail ride…it is the “Lucas Oil Ultimate ATV
Experience!”
