JEREMIAH JONES RECEIVES
SUPPORT FROM THE ATV RACING COMMUNITY

WHITE BEAR LAKE, Minn. (Aug. 4, 2006) —
Jeremiah Jones (No. 2 Team Suzuki,
Yoshimura/Suzuki) suffered a severe back injury
during a non-WPSA-affiliated race in Upstate New
York last Sunday. Due to the injury, he is not
scheduled to compete in the final WPSA
PowerSports ATV Tour events scheduled for Aug.
20-21 at Old Bridge Township Raceway Park in
Englishtown, N.J.
“Our hearts go out to Jeremiah, his wife,
Jamie, their son, Nathaniel and the entire Jones
family,” said PowerSports Entertainment, Inc.
CEO Rick Murphy. “Jeremiah is an exceptional
individual in every respect and we hope he will
attack his recovery process with the same zeal
he applied on the track. All of us at WPSA wish
him the best and we’ll do everything we can to
help him.”
Jones is currently being treated at Bassett
Healthcare-Cooperstown in New York and will be
transferred Monday to Shepherd Center in Atlanta
to begin rehabilitation.
