Cobra Quads Clean Up At
Loretta’s ATVA Tour Stop
Cobra’s winning heritage continues on quad
cycles at Loretta’s – capture wins
in every event they enter and wrapping up three
o/a ATVA titles early
HILLSDALE, Mich., (Aug. 18, 2006) – Cobra
Motorcycles’ mini quad cycles cleaned up big
time on the competition at the recent Loretta
Lynn’s round of the ATVA Moose Racing National
Motocross Series, presented by Parts Unlimited,
winning every 50cc, 70cc and 90cc production
class they entered and wrapping up three overall
class championships before season’s end.
“It’s was a good weekend for Cobra’s quads,”
said Cobra Chief Engineer Phil McDowell. “Kids
on Cobras won every class they entered and you
can’t ask for much more than that.”
Cobra quad mounted champions at the Loretta’s
ATVA round included:
Place Name/Hometown Class/Age
1st Alex Szymborski (Holt, Mich.) 50cc
Production 6-8* 1st Brett Musick (Verdunville, W.Va.) 70cc
Production 6-11 1st Dillon Starks (Murray, Ky.) 70cc Shifter
6-11 1st Tyler Pittman (Murray, Ky.) 90cc Production
Jr. (8-11) 1st Bren Marra (Bordentown, N.J.) 90cc
Production Sr. (12-15)*
* In addition to sweeping all the classes it
entered, three Cobra-mounted quad racers wrapped
up their division titles prior to the final race
of the ATVA Quad National Series season. Also
wrapping up an overall title with Szymborski and
Marra was Brandon Tittle (Florence, Ala.) in the
70cc Production 6-11 class.
Also noteworthy was that in the 50cc class,
Cobra quad racers took the top 18 (out of 20)
spots. “The racing was exciting, but we were
actually a little bit bored,” said McDowell.
“There were three of us there from the Cobra
factory and had very little maintenance to do
over the weekend.”
Next up for the Cobra quad racers is
