There is a bright light in the world of
motocross racing, trail riding and hare
scrambles.
For two years the Ignition Racing factory
race team has been working on a solution to the
long-standing noise issue associated with dirt
bike and ATV racing and riding. As it turns out,
it is a simple solution.
After numerous prototypes and hundreds of
hours of testing and refining, they have come up
with the dB DAWG. This innovative product has a
quick and simple installation into the end of a
motorcycle muffler that can reduce sound levels
by 4 to 10 decibels. A reduction of 3 dB means
that the sound is reduced by half!
When some racetrack owners saw the dB Dawg in
action, they decided that this was a necessary
improvement to help keep the noise levels down
at the tracks. Several tracks are looking at
making the use of Ignition Racing’s dB DAWG
mandatory this year.
The dB Dawg will be available at the
racetracks and dealers throughout North America. Please note that we are currently seeking

Canada.
