WPSA
POINTS LEADER JOHN NATALIE INJURED, OUT FOR THE WEEKEND
AS JACK LINK'S ATV CHAMPIONSHIP KICKS OFF SATURDAY

TAYLORVILLE, Ill. (May 12, 2007) -- SuperQuad Pro 450 championship points leader John Natalie, Jr. (No. 13 Maxxis, ELKA/Honda) suffered an off yesterday in practice for this weekend's Jack Link's ATV Championship, Round 2 of the 2007 WPSA PowerSports ATV Tour, at South Fork Dirt Riders. The event, which features Motocross, QuadTerrain, and Super Sport Side-by-Side racing, will be telecast on ESPN2 on Saturday, June 23 at noon EDT.

Natalie sustained injuries to his chest and leg, and will not compete for the balance of the weekend.

"I tore some muscles in my chest, hurt my knee, ankle and foot," said Natalie. "I'm done for the weekend, but I'll be ready for the next race in Oklahoma."

South Fork Dirt Riders' owner Leroy Harris is offering a special bonus this weekend to all privateers in the SuperQuad Pro 450 field, awarding the $1,000 Privateer Award. The bonus will go the top-finishing privateer in tomorrow's final.

Today's racing card features Amateur, Pro Am, and Woman's Class Racing, as well as Pro Qualifying. Racing started at 8 a.m. and will continue throughout the day. Tickets are available at the gate.
