Warnert Racing’s Dominates WPSA Blue Ridge Open Championship

Warnert Racing’s Scott Kilby regains control of the WPSA Quadterrain Pro Stock points lead with two podium finishes during the Blue Ridge Open Championship double-header weekend at the Daniel Boone track in London, Kentucky. As the Warnert Racing Team secured five out of six Podium finishes over the weekend.

On Sunday, both Round 4 & 5 of the Powersport ATV Tour Quadterrain Pro Stock races were held only a few hours apart after several rounds of heats on Friday and Saturday leading up to the big show.

In Round 4, it was Warnert Racing’s Chris Bithell grabbing the Holeshot, but before the end of the first lap, teammate, Chris Borich took over the lead and held it for several laps until Borich ran into some trouble. This opened up the door for Warnert Racing’s Scott Kilby to take control of the lead and secure yet another win for the Warnert Racing Team. Hometown favorite and local hero, Warnert Racing’s Adam Vaughn claimed the final spot on the Podium.

The start of Round 5 had Chris Borich jumping out to the early lead, which is where he stayed till the checkered flag to claim his second win of the season in only his third race of the year on the CanAm Outlander. The win by Borich, catapulted him into the top 10 in points despite missing the two rounds of racing. Chris Bithell was also on the gas as he secured a second place finish and his first Quadterrain Podium finish and rounding out the Podium was Scott Kilby in the third spot.

The Warnert Racing Team dominated the Blue Ridge Open Championship, and they will carry their momentum into yet another double header in Petersburg, Virginia on July 1st at the Virginia Motorsports Park.
