KTM’s Tim Farr Extends
Win Streak at Ozark Mountain EDT
Ava, MO – Eleven-time Pro ATV
Champion Tim Farr dominated the ATVA Extreme
Dirt Track Pro-Am Unlimited class with his third
win of the series at round five of the ATVA
Extreme Dirt Track Series. The host of
round five, the Ozark Mountain facility, is
brand new to the EDT Series and was able to
utilize a over/under bridge in order to make up
for it’s small track size. The track also
had a split line and a motocross style start
with a 90 degree turn which led to an elevated
bowl turn.
Farr showed he was still on fire from his win at
round four of the EDT Series in Pine Lake when
he started off the night grabbing the holeshot
and taking home his heat race win. Farr’s KTM
appeared to be on rails as it flew almost
effortlessly around the track turning the
fastest lap times of the night.
The main event once again had Farr grabbing the
holeshot and leading the field around the first
corner. Brandon Hill hung tough with Farr
for the first four laps of the race, but it then
seemed as if Farr found another gear as he
distanced himself further from the pack.
Farr won the event with a six second lead over
second place finisher Brandon Hill.
With five races down, Tim Farr continues to lead
the series with three events remaining.
The next race is scheduled for August 25, 2007
at the Dixieland Speedway in Elizabeth City, NC.
